Measurement & Verification

Measurement and Verification (M&V) is vital for proving savings and ensuring the success of any energy efficiency projects.  The M&V process includes establishing the potential of a project’s efficiency measures to save energy and then verifies that the expected results associated with these upgrades are achieved. Viridian can evaluate with specificity where and how energy is used and provide information that reassures our customers get the results they expect from investing in energy efficiency. 

Similiar to building commissioning and energy modeling, this is a potential credit to achieve LEED certification.  This service is offered under a bundled package, or can be offered independently.  While not required to reach certification, this component is often recommended as it is a vital part of any green building as it ensures your building performs as expected.
