EPA expected to award between $1.8 to $3.8 million in grants

The EPA recently released a grant opportunity for projects that will contribute to improved water quality in urban areas. The funding is part of the EPA's Urban Waters program, which supports communities in their efforts to access, improve, and benefit from their urban waters and the surrounding land.

The deadline for submitting a request proposal is January 23, 2012.
